I would say that I'm pretty active - I go to Orangetheory, 24 hour fitness, and Flywheel ... but when I was looking for a personal trainer to get me to my next level I ran across 'The Star Method' on yelp and scheduled a session. The owner/trainer Adam was a pro MMA fighter so I thought I might be intimidated but he is so cool & super chill... BUT he really puts you to work!! I've never boxed/fought before but Adam quickly got me up and running - teaching me how to jab, cross, block etc. My first session I burnt 900+ calories and was drenched in sweat. I've been going to him for a little over a month now 2x week and not only have lost 5 lbs but also learned some awesome skills on how to fight & defend myself. Adam is super attentive, focused, informative, and each training session is always different & very challenging. If you're looking for a great workout, to get in shape, or learn proper boxing skills - I highly recommend Adam & the Star Method!
